  • Focus on Sustainable Household Agricultural Productivity and Empowerment
  • Siaya County’s high HIV prevalence (14-15%), being 4.2 times higher than the national prevelence and 38.3% poverty rate drives the high burden of over 69,000 Vulnerable Children. These children include over 12,000 adolescents and children living with HIV whose families face systemic multidimensional challenges; which compromise child well-being while struggling with barriers to healthcare, education, child safety, food security and economic stability; creating a cycle-of-vulnerabilities.

Objectives :

  1. Improved access to Healthcare, Food, Housing and Education for 400 households in Siaya County
  2. 95% of agricultural participants record over 50% increase in livelihood score.
  3. SMEs survive first 6 months post-support.
  4. By October 2026, target community women and girls in Siaya county will experience a reduction in the time spent on unpaid care and domestic work, will have increased their economic participation, and will see improvements in their well-being.
